OUR OPINION
This Hamlet situated in the beautiful pisan hills consists of a main villa which is surrounded by a large park and farm buildings: an olive production building, a granary and a workshop. There are also several large cottages spreadout. This hamlet has been recently restored to its former glory as a five star luxury retreat. This is an all inclusive estate that offers many activities and amenities on site but is also close to Pisa and Florence. Certainly a plus for those looking to enjoy all Tuscany has to offer. Great for accommodating large wedding groups.
"We got married in October 2012 at the hamlet. We cannot speak highly enough of the hamlet, the entire staff. We had 115 guests who stayed at the hamlet over the course of our wedding week. The staff at the hamlet were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everyone felt very well taken care of. We were very happy with the accommodations for everyone, and the food was excellent.
We got married in a nearby church, and had apertifs and the reception at the hamlet itself. We also had a welcome dinner at the hamlet the night before the wedding, and a buffet the day after the wedding.
We chose the hamlet due to its location - close to Pisa, Florence, Siena: capacity for on-site accommodation for all our guests; close proximity of to a local village; and the design and lay-out of the hamlet itself.
We visited the hamlet in August before the wedding to see it and do some final planning. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted we chose the hamlet for our wedding. It is set in the countyside, and has a beautiful rustic feeling, with magnificent views all around. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and each has its own character. the pool areas are beautiful and nice to relax by. The restaurant and bar area have a lovely feel to them, and the staff are very friendly and great fun. We would highly recommend the hamlet to anyone either planning a holiday in Tuscany or planning their wedding in Italy."

"This hamlet is a stylish agriturismo resort in the Tuscan countryside between the rolling hills and fields full of sunflowers. The old buildings of the hamlet like the stables and the barns are rebuilt into villas with apartments with their own kitchens and hotel rooms. It is a bit confusing because there are reviews of the apartments, of the Fattoria and of K2. There are all parts of the hamlet. There are no cars allowed but there are golf cars available for transporting luggage or guests. There is a parking lot, just an open space in the woods next to the church opposite to the hamlet, but space is limited.
We had a wonderful two week stay in a one bedroom apartment in one of the villas. The apartment was nicely decorated and good enough for two adults. The air conditioning units were hidden in the walls. There is nothing on the outside that disturbs the appearance of the old tuscan style of the hamlet.
There are two swimming pools at the hamlet. One pool is climate controlled which means the water is cool in the summertime and warm in colder months. One of the pools is especially for children. The hamlet provided us with four pool towels.
In the main plaza of the hamlet there are two restaurants who are operated independently. We went to both a few times for lunch and dinner. The food was good but a bit expensive. One night we enjoyed a buffet with live music. Just outside the hamlet there is another independent restaurant where we had a very good pizza."

"This is the type of resort you might think of as an all inclusive village. It is instead an apartment rental place. All the apartmens are very well furnished, stylish and in an amazing position. The place is made for spring to fall and pools are available with the weather conditions in italy, meaning no need to have them heated. The place offers as extra other services to compare it to a hotel, but as this is not a hotel they are all considered extras. Food is very good if you eat at the restaurant, and I suggest to buy your own food for preparing a nice breakfast in your apartment or go to the nearby village for a typical italian breakfast. I think this is a very relaxing stay for a nice week in tuscany. Well positioned to visit the center of Tuscany and resting at night in a peaceful oasis!"
